Forever 21 Romper, H&M Sandals, Ray-Ban Sunnies
I bought this romper for my friend’s 30th birthday bash on a boat a couple weeks back. It’s been warmageddon out here in Toronto but our evenings can get chilly so I figured being out on the water it could get a tad cold and the longer sleeve may come in handy. I’ve always been attracted to pieces that have long sleeves and a shorter bottom half. I think it gives garments an edgier vibe while still being slightly modest. Thankfully this piece is a short-short romper because it WAS super short. I was initially into this piece because of the colour and it’s 70s vibe, but also because I wanted something fun and easy to wear while on a boat; so a romper with that hint of sexy lace-up in the front was perfect. I’m not much of a person for prints unless it’s snake skin or something along those animalistic lines, but this retro print wasn’t too aggressive and didn’t take over my petite frame so it worked.
*The shoes were a mega score in an over-run sale section. No longer available.
